In that time, 19% of Americans each year on average have delayed treatment for a serious condition, according to Gallup’s December 2019 report. More Americans are afraid of paying for healthcare if they became seriously ill (40%) than are afraid of getting seriously ill (33%), according to a 2018 poll by the University of Chicago and the West Health Institute.

Dabei stellte sich heraus, dass es in Sachsen eine Initiative der Werkstatt “Kunststoffschmiede” gibt, die das 3D-Drucker-Design in ein Spritzguss-Design überführt hat. Die Firma 1st Mould Rapid Tools hat dann in absurd kurzer Zeit das passende Werkzeug hergestellt, einen Prototyp gespritzt – und dann 12.000 Halterungen für uns hergestellt.

Now around 250 laboratories are carrying out between 300,000 and 500,000 tests for Covid-19 every week. Not bad for a lead-footed tortoise.

Interessant sind auch die Schilderungen des Engländers Daren Bland aus East Sussex. Er könnte laut britschen Medien Patient null in Großbritannien gewesen sein. Besonders pikant ist, dass der 50-Jährige sich bereits Mitte Jänner in Ischgl angesteckt haben könnte, lange bevor die ersten Corona-Fälle in Österreich offiziell bekannt wurden. Auch Bland war Gast in der Bar „Kitzloch“ .
